LED LIGHT

Efficency and durability are the main features of LED technology, whose rapid and constant evolution has allowed to increase the performance of the products, now ready to replace conventional light sources. 

But it's necessary to design the luminaire with care. That’s why LEDè puts attention on LED's distinctive characteristics:
·         the heat sink allows LED to work within its thermal limits;
·         the optical reflector optimizes the luminous flux;
·         the lens is adjusted to meet the lux required by various environments;
·         choice of high-quality LED.

LEDè offers a complete range of products for interior lighting: from the spot with 1,2 W ideal for niches or cases to the power projector ideal to illuminate large galleries or churches that can produce 1900 lm with 30 W. Thanks to interchangeability of its elements, it's possible to customize the product according to client's needs. It's therefore possible to choose the amplitude of the light beam, the colour of the LED and finishing touch. It's very important to choose the perfect item that enhances the space you are going to light, making the right match of the colour of light with the furniture style; for example choose natural white for youthful spaces with light furnishing, or warm white to enhance the antique furniture, wood and in general all warm colours.

Light hue is expressed in Kelvin degrees (K): the light emitted by an incandescent lamp, for example, has a colour temperature equal to 2700 K, so it emits a warm white colour tone, while the noon daylight has 5500 K value of colour so it emits a neutral tone light.

Cost saving

Energy saving is equivalent to cost saving. For a given light output, LED lamp initially costs more than traditional bulbs, but then it consume much less it lasts much longer.

Comparing with halogen lamp, the saving obtained by using LED lighting is about 80% at constant Lumen. The advantage is evident, especially in spaces where there is a continuous lighting (stores, comapnies, showrooms, etc.), with a significant reduction in operating and management costs.

Let's take the example of a house with a living room where there are 10 fixed light spots installed. If we consider the time frame in which the LED retains the initial Lumen output (50000 h), we'll save more than 6000 euro! A good halogen bulb, in fact, has an estimated average life of 2000 h; assuming a daily use of 5 hours per day for 365 days, LED bulb lasts 27 years, while for the same time we'll need to replace 25 halogen bulbs. Finally, comparing LED lifetime and its luminous efficiency with a traditional halogen bulb, the return on investment in LED is already obtained in general from the second year of functioning.

Green energy

LED light allows to illuminate without using contaminant elements such as, for example, lead or mercury; for this reason LED technology is considered environmentally friendly. In the production of LED items are used only easily disposable and recyclable components òike aluminum, copper and polycarbonate. This makes the product completely recyclable when it reaches its life limit. Further benefits are directly related to the efficiency of LED compared to incandescent bulbs, those in mercury and metal halide. Energy efficiency can be translated into a reduction in electricity bill and in emissions of greenhouse gases released into the environment, helping to limit global warming.
